John previously worked with Heskin Auctioneers before a career with Sherry FitzGerald in Galway City and then opening a franchised office in Ballinasloe. Since April 2010 he is now trading as John Dolan Auctioneers covering Galway city & County and the company has two offices in the following areas: John is a member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. He has a Diploma in property management, a diploma in business management and a degree in estate management as well as a Commerce degree. John Dolan Auctioneers covers a wide area including all of Galway City and suburbs, Ballinasloe town and surrounding areas of the M6 corridor from Galway to Ballinasloe.
