Burtonport (Irish: Ailt an Chorráin) is a picturesque Gaeltacht fishing village situated in The Rosses district of County Donegal. Located about 7 km northwest of Dungloe, the village is primarily known as the main gateway to Arranmore Island, with regular ferry services departing from its bustling harbour. Historically a thriving commercial fishing port developed by Marquess Conyngham in the 1780s, the village has diversified into a popular tourism hub along the Wild Atlantic Way.
