LSL Property retains properties that have been sold or sale agreed as part of the historical property information available on LSLProperty.com.
When a property is confirmed as sold, we may change the status of the listing to “Sold”, “Sale Agreed” or another appropriate historical status rather than removing the property from the website.
Historical property listings provide useful information to buyers, sellers, estate agents, valuers and other users about previous properties marketed in an area, property prices and general market activity.
For this reason, the purchase of a property does not automatically result in the property listing being removed from LSLProperty.com.
A sold property listing may continue to display information originally provided when the property was marketed, including:
Where appropriate, LSL Property may also use publicly available property information, including information made available through HM Land Registry and other public sources.
Purchasing a property does not automatically give the new owner the right to have the property's historical marketing record removed from LSL Property.
However, we recognise that there may be circumstances where a current owner has a legitimate privacy, security or data protection concern.
Current owners may therefore ask LSL Property to review a sold property listing. Depending on the circumstances, LSL Property may:
LSL Property may retain basic historical information about the property even where particular photographs or other information are removed.
If you are the current owner of a property displayed on LSLProperty.com and believe there is a legitimate reason why the listing or particular information should be removed, please email:
Please use the subject: Sold Property Listing Review
Please include:
We may require reasonable evidence that you are the current owner of the property before making changes to a historical listing.
This may include an official Title Register, title deeds, completion documentation or written confirmation from your solicitor or conveyancer.
Where necessary, we may also request identification to verify the identity of the person making the request.
Please do not send identification documents unless requested by LSL Property.
LSL Property does not intend its historical property listings to identify the individual owner or purchaser of a property.
Where information displayed by LSL Property constitutes personal data, it will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 where applicable.
Data protection rights are not absolute, and a request to remove information will be considered taking into account the nature of the information, the reason for the request and LSL Property's legitimate interests in maintaining accurate historical property information.
If LSL Property agrees to remove or amend information, this will only affect information displayed on LSLProperty.com.
Information about a property or previous transaction may continue to be available through HM Land Registry, other government records, estate agents, search engines and other property websites.
LSL Property cannot remove or amend information independently published or held by those organisations.
